I just want to take a moment to thank Pete Blohme, the owner of Sunset Pointe, Panini Petes and so many other great restaurants in Fairhope & Mobile Alabama. He was the first person I ever worked for when I moved to Alabama, and I’ll always be grateful for that. But beyond that, he’s built something truly special with Sunset Pointe—because, without a doubt, this is the best seafood restaurant in the South. Period.

I had the chance to work there, so I know the menu like the back of my hand. And let me tell you, every single dish is made with care, fresh ingredients, and a level of quality that’s hard to find. My go-to favorites? The Kamikaze Chicken and the Sunset Pointe Burger—absolute must-haves. But that’s just scratching the surface. The seared tuna nachos? Next-level. The salads? Fresh and flavorful. The Southern Fried Fish & Chips? Crispy perfection. And if you’re in the mood for steak—trust me, it’s on another level. There’s so much to love about this place, and every dish is worth trying.
