The high divorce rate in America is a result of numerous irregularities in relationships. Unrealistic standards and a reluctance to compromise contribute to the challenges. Many seem to forget the true meaning of love, often comparing their relationships to others. It shouldn’t be a competition; rather, one should cherish and stick with the person they marry. Unlike the lasting relationships of our grandparents and parents, toxic behavior, lack of respect, and stagnation harm modern relationships, leading to splits. Cheating, influenced by constant comparison through social media, further exacerbates the issue. To address the 60% divorce rate, fostering respect, love, and continuous growth is essential for building better relationships.
