The answer

The reliability of BMWs for daily driving varies based on the model and make. Taking good care of your car is crucial. From my experience, my BMW’s rear clutch went out at 178,000 miles, but driving habits play a role. Some BMWs face issues as early as 40,000 miles. Repairs can be costly, averaging $200-$500 per job, often higher. It’s essential to have vehicle knowledge and be prepared for potential expenses.
