I’m Sarah Simpson, and I currently attend the University of South Alabama, where I’m majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

My dearest friends are simply my people around me <3.

As for my best college moments, it’s tough to choose just five, but here are a few:

  1. Studying Abroad in Perugia, Italy.
  2. The countless formals, date parties, and sorority events that have filled my college life.
  3. Attending a Lana Del Rey concert in Brandon, MS.
  4. Hosting John Quinones as a speaker at one of our events.
  5. Spending a memorable summer in Destin during my internship, where I made numerous close friends.

I’m set to graduate in December 2024.

To my fellow college students worldwide, I’d like to say: College is more than just the classes you take; it’s about the connections you make, the lifelong friends you find, and the experiences you embrace. It’s what you make of it, so keep a level head, remember that nobody’s perfect, and that making mistakes is all part of the journey. Seize every opportunity that comes your way, as some may not return. Stay open to new ideas, people, and experiences, and above all, remember to have fun!

Beyond the classroom, I’m highly involved on campus. I proudly serve as the President of the Hospitality Club, a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity, a mentor for PASSAGE USA, and a hospitality and tourism management ambassador. I also work at the Noble South restaurant in downtown. In my free time, you can find me on walks, enjoying coffee, working out, or spending time with friends.
