Introduction:
Amidst the picturesque countryside, I had the privilege of sitting down with Dulcie, a woman whose heart beats in rhythm with the natural world. She is known for her preference for animals over people, and in our candid conversation, Dulcie shares her thoughts on society, dreams, and her unwavering commitment to make a difference.
Thoughts on People in the World:
Dulcie: People in today’s world often seem consumed by the urge to pass judgment on those around them. Whether it’s about their choices, looks, personalities, or personal preferences, the culture of judgment prevails. I don’t quite understand why this is, but I do know it’s a significant issue that demands our collective attention. I’d like to emphasize that we’re all guilty of this to some extent, often without realizing it. This judgmental culture is something that needs to change. Another pressing issue is the unequal distribution of wealth. Those with substantial financial resources wield an extraordinary amount of power, often able to escape the consequences of their actions. It seems counterintuitive when you consider that there are people in this world who are suffering from starvation while others have more money than they know what to do with. It’s a contradiction that’s hard to ignore.
Inspirations & Goals:
Dulcie: My aspirations are as boundless as the countryside I call home. My primary goal is to work in a profession that involves breeding animals. Horses, dogs, cats, snakes, hedgehogs – anything that captures my fancy. I have no desire for a monotonous, clock-in, clock-out job. What I truly want is to find joy in my work, to pursue it not for the sake of money but because of my deep love for animals.
Impact on the World:
Dulcie: My most profound goal is to combat abuse in all its forms, whether it’s child abuse, animal abuse, or any other kind. I want to see a world where kindness prevails, and people treat one another and animals with respect. In addition to this, I dream of breeding the finest horses and establishing a farm where people can find a connection with a wide range of animals and take what they need.
Struggles In Life:
Dulcie: Life’s demands can be overwhelming at times. The routine tasks like showering, brushing teeth, and combing hair often feel like obligations I’d rather not be bound by. I prefer to live in the moment and do things at my own pace.
Self-Reflection and Changes:
Dulcie: I must admit that when I’m pushed to anger, it’s a different side of me that emerges. I might say and do things that I wouldn’t under ordinary circumstances. This is an aspect of myself that I would like to work on and change.
What does love mean to you?:
Dulcie: To me, love is a sanctuary, a place where you can always find comfort and connection, no matter how far apart you might be from someone or something you cherish. It’s a force that never fades.
