1. Can you provide an introduction about yourself and describe who you are?
Hello! I’m Cameron, an 18-year-old residing in a suburban town in Georgia. I come from a bustling household with two sisters, two brothers, and a total of six dogs, along with cats and more! Engineering and music recording are my passions, and I also find joy in running and writing.
2. What are some of your passions in life that you are actively pursuing?
As mentioned earlier, my love for writing and recording music has always been present. I’m soon embarking on a journey to a school in Nashville to pursue music engineering. My goal is to broaden my skills and establish myself as a professional recording artist.
3. Do you have any words of wisdom or guiding principles that you live by every day?
One guiding principle I live by is giving my best effort in everything I do. Why waste an opportunity by approaching it half-heartedly? Another important principle is spreading kindness every day. Life is fleeting, and we never know what others may be going through. So, why not treat everyone with respect? Let’s be kind and provide others with reasons to keep going. Lastly, I always strive to see the good in people, understanding that everyone has their own unique story that’s something i’m working on every day.
4. What are some goals you hope to achieve within the next 1-3 years?
In terms of my goals, I aspire to work in a professional recording studio and leave my current job by next August. Looking even further ahead, within the next three years, my aim is to relocate to Nashville and fully dedicate myself to pursuing music, aiming to become an artist.
5. In what ways do you aspire to make a positive impact on society as a whole?
My music serves as a platform to spread positivity and raise awareness about mental health. Music has personally saved and transformed my life, and if I can have the same impact on someone else, it would be truly life-changing. It’s not about monetary gains but rather touching people’s hearts and conveying a positive message.
6. Is there anything else about yourself that you would like to share with the world?
One important message I would like to share is to value the time we have been given. Life is short, and sometimes it takes experiencing loss to truly appreciate its brevity. However, my intention is to prevent others from reaching that point. I don’t want people to endure the kind of suffering I have witnessed. I have had loved ones who attempted or succeeded in taking their own lives, and that profoundly altered my perspective on life. Let’s not allow it to reach such a critical point. Seize the present moment, take control of your life, and spread kindness to everyone around you. Embrace life, explore new experiences, and cherish every moment.
