1. Can you please provide some information about your background and tell us more about yourself?

My name is Job Gado Sawami, but I am commonly known as Amazing Jay. I’m 21 years old and currently in my final year at the university, studying Theatre Arts and Cultural Studies. I come from a family of four, consisting of my mother and three sisters. As the eldest and only boy, I hold a significant role in my family.

2. What sparked your passion for photography and the creative field?

Growing up, I had a strong desire to tell stories through images, which ignited my passion for photography. I fell in love with the art form and realized it was the perfect medium for me to express myself creatively also Seeing the remarkable lifestyle of amazing klef and witnessing his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the best photographers in Nigeria has filled me with hope that I, too, can strive for greatness and achieve my dreams.

3. What goals have you set for yourself in the next 1-2 years?

Within the next 1-2 years, I envision establishing myself as one of the most prominent photographers.

4. Do you have any words of wisdom or a personal motto that guides you every day?

One motto I live by is “Never give up.” I firmly believe that perseverance and determination are essential to achieving success. Additionally, I hold onto the belief that nothing worthwhile comes easily.

5. Could you describe some of the challenges you encountered on your journey to where you are today?

One of the challenges I faced was the lack of support while starting out in photography. Neither my family nor my mother provided support, as they didn’t view it as a lucrative business. Despite this, I was determined to prove them wrong and make them proud. I relied on online resources, such as YouTube, to learn and improve my skills since I couldn’t afford expensive training from top photographers.

6. If you had the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world, how would you go about it?

Given the chance, I would create a platform or organization dedicated to helping those in need, particularly the homeless and needy individuals in the northern part of Nigeria. In this region, there are many people struggling and begging on the streets. I would channel my efforts towards providing them with necessities and support. This cause is personal to me as I have faced similar challenges while growing up, and I believe in spreading love and giving back to those who have less.
