- Can you please provide some details about yourself and your background?
I’m Saanyboy, originally from Philadelphia.
- What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve been rapping for a while now, around two years. The inspiration to rap has been with me since I was a young kid. I grew up watching influential artists like Michael Jackson, Proof, Eminem, and 50 Cent who had a significant impact on the world. Seeing them featured in magazines, music videos, and being recognized as the best artists of their time motivated me. I aspire to be a great artist and use my music to make a positive impact on the world.
- What are your personal goals for the next 1-3 years?
Considering my age, my goals revolve around continuous improvement in various aspects of my life. I aim to achieve small victories, such as obtaining my passport, reducing overthinking, and expanding my network. In terms of music, I want to perform more and collaborate with artists from my city and around the world.
- How do you perceive the current state of the world?
I strive to see things as they truly are, based on my own observations. I believe that anything is possible, and not everything we hear or see is necessarily true. It’s important to be cautious about whom we trust and allow into our lives.
- What challenges have you faced in life, and how have you overcome them?
One significant challenge I’ve encountered recently is maintaining consistency. Although I haven’t found a definitive solution yet, I’ve been working on increasing my focus, which has yielded some positive results. Consistency is crucial in various aspects of life, such as music, work, and relationships. Overcoming this challenge is one of my biggest priorities.
- Can you tell us about your most recent project that you’ve released to the world?
I recently released my latest project called “YBF” earlier this year. With this project, I aimed to reconnect with my musical roots. I rapped over beats that were once considered the norm, but I focused on enhancing my lyrics, concentration, and overall music quality. “YBF” is available on all major platforms. Currently, I’m working on two upcoming projects: “Sittin with the Coach” is the title of my next project, and I also plan to create a series similar to Lil Wayne’s “Dedication.” So, I’m actively working on those projects.
