Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Doumzau, and I’m a 20-year-old artist from Brooklyn, NYC.

2. What was the inspiration behind your pursuit of creating music?

The inspiration behind my music comes from my cultural background. Having been born and raised in Senegal, it has deeply influenced my pursuit of creating music.

3. What are your personal goals for the next 1-3 years?

Over the next 1-3 years, my personal goals are to continue creating music, aim to get signed, help my community, and build homes for those in need.

4. What are some words of wisdom you live everyday?

A valuable mantra I live by every day is not allowing prejudice to hinder the pursuit of my dreams. I believe in staying true to myself and not letting anyone deter me from reaching my goals.

5. What challenges have you encountered in life, and how have you managed to overcome them?

Throughout my life, I have faced challenges, particularly with people who used to discriminate based on my skin complexion. However, I have managed to overcome those obstacles, and now I receive love and support for who I am. Things have significantly improved.

6. Can you tell us about your most recent project that you’ve released to the world?

My most recent music project has been met with great appreciation from both my fans and well-known artists. I’m grateful for the positive feedback and support they’ve shown, which motivates me to continue creating music.
