Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m very unique in who I am and I let my passions be the thing to drive me. As I grew up I had a lot of things traumatize me and set me back but I found out that staying true to myself was what would help me move past some of the things I struggled with. I was often rejected cause I wasn’t like everyone else and I didn’t fit into a clique. Although, no matter what I go through I don’t let people see me struggle or in a vulnerable state. I try to be hard working even when people tell me the things I’m working towards will never be something I accomplish.

What Inspires You Every day? : Something that inspires me is people who aren’t afraid to be who they are. They do what they want when they want because they don’t take life too seriously. I also look up to people who are unapologetically themselves since it’s something I wish to be someday. It motivates me to see people who didn’t let things stop them from achieving what they aspired to be.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: I live by two sayings, you only live once, and no two people are identical. I love living by, you only live once, because it really puts into perspective that this isn’t some dress rehearsal. We only get one run at life and it’s up to us to make it memorable and fun. Also, to know that no two people are identical is calming to me. It proves that we are all our own individual and the thought of everyone being uniquely themselves makes me happy.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal career wise is to reach people through the songs I write and sing, my dance, and my art in general. I don’t necessarily care if I have a record breaking following for the things I create, I just want people to relate to the things I have to say and I want to be able to help people by doing what I love to do. I also want to be a mother someday because that’s always been a dream of mine.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : During the pandemic we weren’t allowed to perform, obviously, and since that’s the thing I love to do most it was really difficult to find motivation to do the little things when all I wanted to do was be on a stage performing. I’ve always struggled with mental health but the pandemic made it really apparent how much my mentality needed help. Although the pandemic did cause me to suffer mentally, it truly showed me what things I couldn’t live without, performing and having social interaction with people I cared about/having fun with friends.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Personally, I’d like to advise others to be themselves no matter what road blocks get in their way. I’ve seen so many people, including myself, get wrapped up in the world around them only to end up losing themselves and it’s really painful to watch it happen, and go through it for that matter. So honestly the best advice I know to give other people is to do what you love and be your unique self because there’s no one in the world that’s like you for a reason.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: Having suffered from depression, anxiety, body image issues, bullying, toxic friendships, being taken advantage of, etc., the only things that haven’t failed me yet are the things I’m passionate about. I almost ended my life twice and for all I know, I could’ve been gone by now so I try to think of the fact that I’m still here as a reason to give it my all. I use it as motivation to do what I can to share my music, dance, and art in a way that helps others feel heard and helps people find the things they’re passionate about.
