Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Tye Giles. Born in Cincinnati Ohio 8/18/1997. I grew up in Avondale where I joined the Avondale Youth Council at the age of 12. At the age of 13, my family and I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia for 1 year. When we came back I went to St.Bernard HS where I played soccer, basketball and softball during my HS years. I graduated in 2015 where I was working at the Cincinnati Zoo and later came to work at CitiBank. As of today I resale shoes and clothes in interest of becoming a fashion designer.

What Inspires You Every day? : My daily inspiration is the smiles I put on others faces to bring positivity. 

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: “If you’re always avoiding risks, you’re risking missing out on life.”

What is your ultimate goal in life? : My ultimate goal in life is to genuinely be happy with myself 

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : During the pandemic I’ve had a few changes which I struggled with in the beginning but during this time I was able to bring out an inner me that I discovered with being able to focus more on myself.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Your responsibility to help someone will never outweigh their responsibility to help themselves. 

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I am an upcoming fashion designer interested in the fashion industry to actually become a designer
