Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: I’m a happily single 62-year old woman who is a licensed attorney and writer of a celebrated (but not widely-read) mystery novel. I was born and raised in the United States, a descendant of the African enslaved.

What Inspires You Every day? : My mother is 88-years old. She is a classically trained pianist whose love of music infiltrated my own life. I am her caregiver.

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: Every human is worthy. No one is better than any other.

What is your ultimate goal in life? : I’ve achieved a lot in my life. My goal is to be content in my remaining years.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : I’ve been fine. I wear masks (3 or 4). I haven’t yet been vaccinated.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Live your life. You can’t live anyone else’s.

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I love music. I love people. I speak about 6 languages because I like interacting with people.
