Introduce Yourself/Tell About Yourself: My name is Cassidy Dixon. I am currently a senior at my local university studying animal science and technology. I recently started research in the equine embryology lab at my university. I plan to apply to veterinary school and hopefully fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. I’ve always been somewhat of a paradox; one example is me being really outgoing while also being shy. I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family and giving the people I care about experiences to remember!

What Inspires You Every day? : I want to create my dream life and then share it with someone

What is some words of wisdom you live by?: No one is as critical of you as you are

What is your ultimate goal in life? : To become a veterinarian and provide research on conservation of exotic species and artificial reproductive technologies to assist in comservation efforts.

How have you been during the pandemic and how has it affected you? : The pandemic has completely changed my daily routine. I work in a restaurant part time so that has been completely different and I work at a small animal clinic which only offers curbside service as of now. The pandemic has definitely taught me to be adaptable and to respond to difficulty with an open mind.

What is a message you would like to give others? : Always be kind you never know what some else is going through

What else would you like to tell others about you or your life?: I would like to impact as many people as I possibly can
